September After Hour Social: Our after hours September social will be at Cliff Creek Vineyards, Thursday September 19th 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. I encourage you to mark this on your calendar and grab a group of friends as this will be a fun night… Weather will be perfect to enjoy the wonderful outdoor setting at Cliff Creek. This Saturday is Music at the Mill: You can still pick up tickets for Music at the Mill at the Butte Creek Mill. $25 for a great meal at a fantastic setting with the proceeds going to help the Upper Rogue Wineries. If you don’t have your tickets make plans to pick them up at the Mill today or tomorrow. Let’s make this a sell-out.
Patriot Day: We need some volunteers to help with flag placement and pick-up for Patriots Day. We’ll meet in the Ray’s parking lot Tuesday September 10th at 6 pm and for pick-up 6 pm at Rays on Thursday September 12th… It just takes about 30 minutes of your time but will make you feel good for the rest of the day.
Annual Chamber Awards Dinner Wednesday October 9th! Paradux Media has agreed/paid to be the Title Sponsor. Valley Feed and Seed and Alpacas at Lone Ranch have also become $100 sponsors. September’s Meeting: Will be hosted by, and located at Fire District #3 in White City. This meeting will be held Monday Sept. 9th and promises to be one of the BEST. Chamber business will be short that day so we can all enjoy a tour of the facilities. The buzz around this meeting makes me feel like it might be one of the most well attended meetings. You might want to plan on getting there a few minutes early.
October’s Meeting: Monday October 7th will be at Washington Federal (Formally South Valley Bank). Sara will be there to talk about the transition and all the good things going on at Washington Federal.

Membership Drive: We currently have a record 115 Members! We are looking to grow that number even MORE. July through October we will begin our Membership drive, and the business that is responsible for bringing in the most NEW members will receive a FREE 2014 members ship to the Eagle Point Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce. A ‘new’ member is a business that has not been a member of the Eagle Point Upper Rogue Chamber for at least 2 years.
Create NEW Habits: Look to create new shopping habits. Take the time to stop in and support our wonderful local brick and mortar businesses. It shouldn’t be a contest of how much you can buy at one store, but look at taking a few extra minutes to shop at the specialty shops in the Upper Rogue…
