As a solo artist, Phil’s passion for singing is evident as he lends his interpretation of material from an eclectic mix of genres and moods in a repertoire that includes familiar and personal favorites, as well as un-plugged versions of original selections from his latest CD titled, “JUST ME”. Phil prefers that his style speak for itself, but admits to influences from the timeless “torch” and ballad singers, pop, folk, “real” country, blues and ’70’s California country/rock artists among others. When not accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, Phil also plays electric bass in a popular local trio.
